About Us
Feel calm, safe and settled in a home that fits your life, with clear SDA guidance, practical housing options and support to make confident long term decisions.
We’re a small, local SDA housing provider in South Australia.
We’ve been operating since 2022, and in that time we’ve housed participants across Christie Downs and Morphett Vale with new sites coming up Blair Athol and Hectorville
Most SDA providers will tell you about portfolio size or how many properties they manage across multiple states. We’re different. We keep our portfolio small deliberately. That means we know every home, we match carefully, and when you call, you speak to us directly.
Being boutique means we take the time to get it right. We’re not filling beds to hit occupancy targets. We’re matching people to homes where they can actually settle and live well.
What this means for you:
You’re not a vacancy number. You’re someone looking for housing that works, and we treat it that way.
The ANEW Difference
At ANEW, we provide SDA housing that keeps you in control. Our South Australian homes are designed for your life, not an investment portfolio. You bring the supports you trust, we provide the housing that works.
Housing and supports stay separate
We provide the home. You bring the support workers and providers you already trust. We work collaboratively if there is a SIL in place, and we only assist to provide supports if you need them. We don't tell you who to work with. You have a say over who supports you.
Direct access, no call centres
When you contact ANEW, you speak to the people who know the homes and make the decisions. No transfers, no ticketing systems, no repeating your story. We handle your enquiry from start to finish.
Suburbs people actually want to live in
Our homes are close to shops, medical services, parks and public transport. We choose locations where you can participate in your community, not just exist in an accessible building. Location shapes daily life. We take that seriously.
Pets and family welcome
Bring your pet. Live with your partner, family member or close friend if the home layout allows. We welcome Appendix H arrangements where suitable. Home means the people and animals you care about, not just four walls.
Our Values
Participants come first, always
Our founder worked as a Support Coordinator before starting ANEW. That experience shapes everything we do. We know what it’s like to search for housing on behalf of participants, to navigate confusing systems, and to see people forced into arrangements that don’t fit.
We centre participant needs, not paperwork, processes or portfolio growth.
You keep choice and control
You decide who supports you, where you want to live, and what matters in your daily routine. We provide the housing. You keep the decisions that affect your life.
This isn’t a slogan for us. It’s how we structure our service agreements and matching process.
Housing is your foundation, not our transaction
This is your home, not just our occupied property or someone’s investment asset. We match thoughtfully because getting housing right affects your supports, your routine, your relationships and your stability.
We’d rather leave a room vacant than force a poor match.
Our Story
ANEW SDA started because the housing system wasn’t working for participants.
I was working as a Support Coordinator in South Australia and saw the same problem repeatedly. Participants had supports and providers they trusted, but most SDA housing options expected them to change everything just to get a home.
Too many providers bundled housing with supports. People were being asked to give up working relationships just so a vacancy could be filled. Housing was driving the decisions, not the participant’s actual needs.
I also had a strong interest in property and understood how the right home shapes daily life. Combining support coordination experience with property knowledge made the gap obvious. Participants needed housing that fit into their existing life, not housing that forced them to rebuild their support network from scratch.
ANEW SDA was created to close that gap.
What we focus on:
- Homes that feel like homes, not facilities
- Clear separation between housing and the supports
- Space for you to keep support workers who already know you well as much as possible
- Openness to pets and, where layout allows, partners or family living with you
We’re a small team. We prefer to stay close to each household rather than grow fast. We talk about every match, and we’re honest when a home isn’t the right fit.
My experience as a Support Coordinator (SC) means we understand both NDIS housing rules and the reality of daily life. We know what good matching looks like. We also know that NDIA makes funding decisions, not providers.
I recall a discussion with a fellow SC, who was also a participant, living in an SDA property. She was commenting on how hot it was. When I asked about A/C, she confirmed they had it, but couldn’t afford to run it. So I swiftly arranged Solar, to improve affordability for participants’ everyday living expenses.
We don’t promise outcomes on applications. What we do deliver is housing that respects your existing relationships, your choices, and your right to feel at home.

Working with your team
We work collaboratively with Support Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, families and existing support providers.
If you have a Support Coordinator, we can communicate directly with them about matching, inspections and transition planning. If you’re working with an OT on housing evidence, we can provide information about our homes and design features.
For families supporting a loved one’s housing decision, we’re happy to talk through your questions and include you in inspections where the participant wants that.
We stay in our lane (housing), but we recognise that good housing fits into a wider support network. We respect those relationships, working to support the most vulnerable participants.
